2 Cubic Foot Mixer,
October 19, 2009
By DFR1
from Richmond, VA
"Mixer performed flawlessly running two days for approx 6 hours continously each day. Mixed 35 80LBS of sacrete. 80LBS bag is the absolute max that you can mix and I would reccommend using 60's. Mixer is low to ground so it is awkward to load. For the money = it does exactly what it is designed for. For the homeowner handy-man that will only use it occasionaly, it will do fine. For commercial use - only if you havea crew that will take care of your equipment."

Problems with motor,
July 20, 2009
By dlcallan
from Allentown, PA
"Bought this product based on the good reviews. Tried to use it over the weekend for the first time and the mixer would not turn with cement in it. Used a single 80 lb bag of cement and the mixer stoped after turning for only 3 minutes. Believe that the motor is overheating. Had to get another one shipped out and set back my project by a week."

Does exactly what it is supposed to,
July 13, 2009
By FormerCarpenter

"I can't believe I used to use a wheelbarrow to mix cement. I have mixed over 50 80lb bags of cement with this mixer and it works very well. I had considered a larger unit, but it easily takes one bag at a time and mixes so quickly, there is no reason to need a bigger capacity unit. By the time I could pick up another bag, the first would be mixed. The wheels and small size allow it to pour the cement exactly where needed. This is light enough for one person to easily pick it up, so less is definitely more useful. I would highly recommend it to any contractor pouring footers for decks, concrete stairs, pads, etc. We let friends borrow it and easily fit in the back or her small hatchback."

good mixer,
March 23, 2009
By KevinMN
from Twin Cities, Minnesota
"I bought the mixer for installing stone on my house. I had 55 bags of mortar and did not want to mix by hand! The mixer was fairly easy to assemble, and works great. It just barely takes the 80 pound bag plus water, occasionally there is some minor spillage when mixing. I also looked at the mixer on a stand which I think may have been better for dumping into a wheelbarrow. That one was not immediately available, but they would have shipped it from another store, I just didn't want to wait. It works great for dumping into a mud pan. The motor & drum seem very stout. Northern Tool sells great stuff, I've never been disappointed."

Love My Little Mixer,
August 18, 2008
By KontentedKid
from Bayview, Texas
"This mixer is ideal for my purposes. It mixes the cement quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. What s delight to use. I struggled greatly when trying to mix the cement by hand. This mixer is so efficient that I now thoroughly enjoy every aspect of working with cement. I am a "cement artist" and make mosiacs, stepping stones, scupltures and garden pieces. This mixer has quadrupled my output, plus ended the pain in my arms from hand mixing.
I would recommend this mixer to anyone who uses cement (not necessarily as an art medium) in a smaller quantity.
I have had no repair problems or problems of any kind. For the small user this is just a great piece of equipment at a price, and I compared prices from many other merchants, so i can say with confidence that the price can't be beat.
Please note that my technical level may be misleading as really none of the categories apply to me as an artist or craftsman as opposed to the usual construction use. But as I have said regardless of how you use the mixed cement, the bottom line is that the mixer does a great job.

Great Little Tool,
August 18, 2008
By jimbo666

"I have used many small cement mixers, this is the easiest to use that I have ever had. Mixes quick, but is limited to only one sack. Moves around very easily. The only improvement I could see is a more readily accessable on and off switch."
