Briggs & Stratton engines,

"Not really a whole lot that can be said, anyone who knows anything about small engines already knows that Briggs & Stratton have been around for years. Their quality has gotten even better over the years with all the new technologies in metal. They are a true first pull engine!, some of the others you will find boast that but do not provide. I had a brand H on a air compressor, it came that way from the factory. Could not wait for it to blow up and like most brand H power units it did in about two years. Put an Intek Briggs and Stratton on it about five years ago. The engine is still after all that time a first pull engine, no matter the weather or how long it sets. I have the same 8 hp Intek on my miniture Peterbilt that I built for my Shriner parade vehicle, it is about five years old now and is still a first pull engine. I don't think there is a better quality small power unit that has ever been built. After 42 years on earth I have seen Briggs and Stratton perform when left outside in the weather when the others wouldn't even when they were garage kept. That is quality to me, with a value all its own."
