"I needed a replacement for my 6" orbital sander and I planned to do it with another orbital sander with the same name. I could not afford the 6" sander but the 5" would do the jobs that I want to do. When I started comparing the Milaukee and other sanders, everything pointed to the Milwaukee. The first thing that got my attention was that it is made in the USA. The price was the same. The cord length is 12 feet as is all of the quality sanders that I looked at.
I hooked my shop vac to the dust collector, and "look Ma, no dust"/
The tool works great, and the carrying case is a great extra.
The warranty is excellent.
