"I find this converter capable of doing what I want in my camper except run the air conditioner, but I didn't expect it to do that. I think it is a very good product and would not hesitate to buy it again."

Auxiliary Power Source, January 24, 2008
By Clodhopper from Cattleman/Farmer in central Michigan

"This unit will turn a pickup truck or farm tractor into a mobile-go anywhere power company! It will power electric power saws, drills, lights, even hair dryers to thaw out frozen water pipes. Every serious farmer/cattleman should have this unit installed under the hood."

"As long as you don't plan on using this inverter with heavy equipment it might work for you. If you plan on using power tools rated at 13A or above this is not the unit to buy. I called Vector because my new 3000W / 6000W inverter WILL NOT power my 13 Amp (1560 Watt) aircompressor. They told me this unit will ONLY carry 15 Amps (1800 Watt) including surge, and that the surge time is only 1 second. I bought this unit expecting it to work like my Power Source, which has 20 Amp output, but was very dissapointed and returned it. Vector was more than happy to do that. I will give you their phone number but good luck getting a live person. 866-584-5504 The trick is, don't say anything to the machine and eventually you will get transfered to a person."
