"I'm an electrician and have owned sever different brands of cordless drills. The DeWalt cordless is far superior. It is rugged, dependable and user friendly. The tourque is excellent. What I especially like about the DeWalt cordless is the gripping power of the chuck and the ease of tool changing. With most of the other brands I have owned, the tool in the chuck would slip under load and you have to back off, re-tighten the chuck and hope you woul make it through this time. I have never had that problem with the DeWalt cordless chucks. It is an excellent on the job tool."

"I was recently using this drill at a plant and while on a genie lift about 25 feet off the ground the drill slipped and hit the ground, I knew it was busted and went down to get it and to my suprise it had a couple of scratches but worked fine. this product is a little pricey but it is very well built and tough."

"To start with I use the drill alot doing electrical work, and I honestly can't think of a negative. The torque is great, but my favorite is that when under the pressure there is no slippage in the chuck. If you use a drill alot, you know how frustring this can be. Having to stop and retighten the chuck alot is a big pain. With this drill however that never enters my mind now. The battery life is above average, but when it dies it dies. I am also less fearful of droping it. Although you don't want to drop any tools off a ladder, this one is rugged in construction. It will take what you can dish out. I would buy with confidence again. It's a small price to pay for a quality drill."

"I have used cordless drils for about 12 years. I always used Makita brand drills. Then one day my son found a Dewalt drill in a trash dumpster that would only run one direction.(It would not go in reverse) I took it apart and found a loose conection fixed it and that used drill quickly became my favorite drill. The battery would last a long time and the drill had a lot of torque. I soon bought two more Dewalt drills and have used them about two years with flawless performance. I use my drills daily and love how long the batterys last between charges. I also have a flashlite that came with one of the drill kits and I don't leave home without it. "I bought this tool when building my house. I've used it to drill anything from 1/4" to 2" holes. I drill all the holes to put in my radiant heat which were all 1 1/2' in. Probably 300 holes and it worked great. Could drill 42 hole on a single charge through 2x12 joists. Highly recommend. Dual batteries are nice and it would be tough to kill one battary before the other is fully charged."
