A real time saver!,
November 4, 2009
"Forget pulling out the air hose and digging through your toolbox for your air powered impact wrench just grab your DeWalt 18V cordless impact.
I love this thing. I haven't found a nut or a bolt that this thing can't budge loose. Make sure to keep that battery packs fully charged as the torque decreases as the packs discharge."

"I really enjoy this tool. I am a truck mechanic and it becomes very useful throughout the day. I use it for removal and installing items where air tools arent accessible, "out in the field""

DeWalt Portable Impact Wrench,
August 5, 2009

"I bought this so I don't have to hook up the air compressor just to rotate tires and to have when I am doing 5 cars and trucks I have as well as friends.
This does the job. I have no doubt that it has 300 ft pounds of torque. Only occasionally does this fail to untorque a lug nut or bolt.
The only failing if you can call it that is that it doesn't have the variable torque feature which is really handy to have. I knew this before I bought it and it has not been an issue as I plan around that.
It is not a toy and is pretty heavy to hold as it is a substantial tool"

DW059K-2 !8 volt Impact,

"This is a great product. I work on all types of mechanical things from tractors to boats and anything in between. It is easy to use anywhere. It can be deployed quickly and is very powerful. I bought my dad one to travel with. He has a heart condition that makes changing tires on his travel trailer challenging physically. With this impact the worry of having a flat and getting to overexerted is over. Again this product is one I highly recommend."

Tough tool.,

"Use mine frequently for removing lug nuts and other bolts. Think advertised torque specification is underrated. Haven't had any problems loosening anything. Second battery keeps the job going. Short recharge time. Hardly use air impact since purchasing this."

good as it get's,
July 20, 2009
"I can only say great things about this tool. I am able to take off and put on lug nuts on my race car and work on numerous othe things that need a socket. But do not the room for a big bulky with air line impact gun. This impact competes well with it's air counterpart sure you need to check the lug nuts after putting them on but think about the ease of use and the versatility."

Cordless Torque Wrench,

"Like all Dewalt products, this is built to last. I have bought cheap cordless tools in the past, but no more. The purpose of a cordless tool is to save time and money. When a tool dosen't do the job, you are loosing both time and money. Dewalt is always right on the mark!"

Impact wrench,

"Great tool. Has lots of torque and power. Works well on changing tires for a lady to use or a older person. Makes quick work of jobs and last a long time on one battery. Only thing is removing the socket is a little of a pain having to have something to put in the hole to press the pin down to release it. This though does keep from the socket or tool from coming off."
