"this drill is the best drill i have ever used. you can change bits quik and easy. it can do any job you have for it wether your a contactor that uses it every day or just someone that uses it ever now and then. it isn't hevy and bulky likeother drills. this drill is lightwheight and compact and is very simple to use. it even has a small light on it so you can see what you are doing. i would recommend this drill to everyone."

"This unit is one of the most reliable tools I use. This is also the most used tool of my trade (garage door install/technician). I have had the standard ni-cad version before buying this version for about 2 yrs... I have had nothing but success with Dewalt brand cordless impact drills. If you need to run a lot of metal self tapping screws....long decking screws....or self tapping lag bolts this is a must have tool. When our shop switched from standard drill guns to impact drill guns it literally saved my wrists. Do yourself a favor and pick one up....you will not be disappointed!"

"I used a cordless drill to do all my work until I got a cordless impact driver and now all I do with the drill is use it to drill holes. The impact tool does all the other work such as drive screws, bolts and nuts and all that I used to use a drill for. It is the best thing that has came along for construction work to save time and money."

"The new 18volt lithium ion battery is as light as a feather compared to nicads, I have a complete line of DeWalt 18 volt tools and the new battery is interchangeable with all.
The new impact also includes a LED light on the front end and is lighter than previous model.
If batteries last as much longer as advertised, I think this evolution is well worth the price."
