9.6v Drill/Driver A Good Product,

"This is an excellent drill/driver for the home. It is light, yet capable tool. In many months of use, I have not found a job it could not handle. Yes, the 9.6v battery does not have the life or torque of the higher voltage models. But there is little I do around the home that requires the higher horse power. It is also lighter to handle and did not cause fatigue from the weight of the tool while drilling and driving. This is a durable tool. It has been dropped and knocked around quite a bit during various remodeling and construction projects and still runs like new. It may be a bit light for the pro who needs to use it all day, every day, but I would buy another one in a minute for the occasional use around the home."

"My brother gave this drill to me 5 years ago as a birthday present and at that time I was a single woman and did all my own repair work. This drill has been a lifesaver! It can do most anything needed in setting up house, maintaining a home and even doing jobs outside the home."

Great tool - not too heavy,

"I love my 9.6 volt for many jobs because it is not too heavy and still has good power and long battery life. I've got two of them I use them mostly for woodworking and some home manitenence. I even used my first one to build a big deck on my father-in-laws house."

A powerful drill that's not too heavy.,

"I've had my DeWalt 9.6 volt for years now and am still very happy with it's performance. If you're looking for a powerful drill that's not too bulky and heavy, this is the one to get."

"Now when it comes to over all power and performance this light weight drill has allways came through. This drill may not be the higher voltage modles, for the average handyman or do it yourselfer this one fits the bill. I have udes mine for drilling holes in wood, metal, and also used it with a phillips screw driver bit and hung several sheets of sheetrock before needing the battery recharged. The weight of this drill makes it so much easier to handle, and not having a big bulky battery getting in the way is a big plus! I could go on and on about how great this drill is, but until you try one yourself these words are just one man's opinion. So my suggestion to you is, you gotta try this one!"
