Good Tool Box,
July 25, 2009
By CPF8405

"Tool box is great value. While the price may seem high, it carries as much as 26 inch boxes with middle and top box. The added benefit is you can use the table top for a work space. The only thing missing are small narrow drawers. Build is great. No binding or any misalignment of drawers even loaded with as much as I can put in them.
Great box"

Impressed,

"I got this box as a gift when I first started as a grease monkey. I was impressed by how good the quality was compared to the other boxes in the same price range. I had my tool guy look at it, and he was also pretty impressed and more so when I told him what the price was. I can't want to get the top section and side locker(I wish it was easier to find in black though.)"

"I am a Craftsman guy (normally). I lost my 40" combo tool box in a fire and needed to replace it. After a lot of research, about 2 years ago I bought this top and bottom.
I must say, I am truly impressed! I have this tool box FULLY loaded and I can move it around the shop easier than my old tool box.
The drawers on this box seem to function better loaded, than empty – smooth. The full extension, solid, deep drawers are really, really nice.
Because of the way the drawers have to be closed (there is an internal ‘catch’ to keep the drawers from opening while rolling around if not locked), the locking mechanism is a little tricky to get used to at first, but it works better than the ones I have used in the past.
I am definitely pleased with the overall construction of the box. Better than almost all of the other boxes I’ve looked at.
For the money, there is not a better tool box than this one. If you are looking to spend less than $1000 and you want the most tool box for your money, look no further."

"Good toolbox for the money....
However, I don't like the finish and the end cabinet handles are kind of cheap looking. Otherwise good value."

Very good box.,

"I looked at every similarly sized and featured box on the market before buying the Torin. It has the features and solid feel of boxes I looked at that listed for hundreds more, and none had the finish quality of the Torin. The gray wrinkle finish has proven to be very durable and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in my garage. The drawers are very solid and only seem to get more solid with the added weight of tools. The box is now fully loaded, and the casters make frequent moves very easy."

"This cabinet has worked out great for us, though it is not used as "tool box" it still has it's value to us because of its construction and security we have chosen to use it as a storage cabinet for safety supplies."

"In my line of work, I'm constantly moving from one part of the shop to the other. My box is loaded to the gills and transportation remains smooth. This is a strong and sturdy product. I'd recommend anyone on the market for a new cabinet to check the Torin line out."

"Very nice roll cabinet with plenty of space. Comes 98% assembled leaving the pull handles at either end to be installed. Also enjoyed the drawer handles labels which allow you to identify the tools in each drawer.
The only con I have found on the roll cabinet are the casters. After filling the cabinet it should remain a permanent fixture because it doesn't roll very easy.
Overall it's a great deal for the money considering it's 1/4 of the cost of a Snap-on roll cabinet of equal size.
