Great Idea, Poor Function,

"This item was bought for my father to cut down the amount of time he had into watering his garden. The concept of this sprinkler is a great one, but the function of the product itself is lacking. After setting the hose and the shut off point we decided to let the sprinkler go. After about a 1/2 an hour we went to check on the sprinkler. The sprinkler traveled about 15' and was found tipped over. We proceeded to rework the soil and pack it tighter hoping to fix the problem We set the sprinkler off again and it made is approw. 20' and burried the tires and shut the unit off. There is a huge flaw in function when the unti passes through an area already watered, and the unit either tips over or digs rut and shuts its self off. I have since bought him a weeper hose and even with the extra work of moving it, he is father ahead than with this unit. I would consider buying this again, if they can bring function closer to expectations."
