Fix-a-leak,
November 19, 2009
"It was leaking at a clamp and where the brass colored valve screws into the aluminum piece that you put in your filler neck. I unscrewed the brass piece and wrapped the threads with teflon, reinstalled and tightened clamps. I have no more trouble and can leave the valve from the tank on all the time."

Very Satisfied,

"This kit has all you need other than the drill and bit to make the whole in the bed. We did add a litlle pipe tape on the fitting just for reassurance, but I dont think it was needed. It sure makes it nice to have about a 100 gallons on board when heading to the mountains for a week where there are no stations to refuel!"

Diesel install kit,
July 20, 2009
"I installed this several years ago when installing the auxillary 37 gallon fuel tank. It was scary to revove and saw of part of my fuel filler neck, so I measured many times before cutting. It was hard to get the T to be positioned exactly as it showed in the instructions, but I got it close. I put a grommet around the fuel hose going through the hole I drilled in the truck bed so that the hose would not wear due to contact with the metal. I also added a clear in-line fuel filter that sits in the box next to the tank so I can see fuel flowing and make certain nothing gets in the fuel system.. just an added precaution. I did have the tank overflow the first time I filled it and the main tank and left the valve open. Not sure why the overflow shutoff did not prevent it, but it has not happened since, but I do not trust it to be left open with both tanks full. I wait until the main tank is down to 3/4 or less now. It has worked reliably for me for several years."

Diesel Install Kit,
July 13, 2009
"Everything was there, easy to understand instructions. Gravity feed is a cheap inexpensive way to go. I did add an electronic switch and solenoid valve after the manual valve. If the manual switch fails, I can replace it without empting the tank. Now as I drive down the road I can flip a switch and start filling my main tank. If I shut off the engine the valve closes (safety measure) ."

Please Be Aware,
May 23, 2009
"I have a 1997 F250 my truck has the vent line on the outside of the fuel line making it impossible to use the system provided please be aware of your hose type before purchasing. At this time I cannot use my tank because I cannot access my main fuel system on my truck currently trying to figure out options as to how to feed into my main tank."

"I installed this kit with ease. It's a straight forward package that will get your aux. tank connected to the main tank. One word of advice: Put the shut off valve & a filter before the T that goes into your trucks origional fill tube. I found after a few full tanks that the filter needed changing. This was due to the aux. tank being used & had some crud in it. So being able to use the shut off valve, it was easy to swap out the filter for new. Also I found raising the factory tank vent or putting in a one way breather was a must when the both were full. It will overfill & leak out the factory vent. Overall this is a 5 star product. Hope this helps---Proflow"
