"This product has proven time and time again most beneficial on our trucks, creating less down time for our fellow employess in the field. It is easy to install and the fuel meter and fuel pump that go along w/the tank are just as handy and useful, providing the user with ease of operation."

fuel service,

"A good heavy duty fuel tank. Not fancy looking but well done. Rated at 90 gal. I've only been able to get 85 in mine. I've also had trouble with the fill cap leaking slightly, I tried a different cap but it still continued to leak, vented and unvented included."

Transfer tank - good & bad,
March 7, 2007
By fiasco777

"First - I ordered this tank for heavy duty use and the .125 AL results in a tank that is RUGGED (I.E. can't imagine this thing ever developing fatigue cracks; welds are very thick). Very pleased about that and the location of the top 2" hole for the pump - it's pretty much centered. Now for the bad.
1. If you have a pretty toy truck - forget it - this product is NOT pretty - you will not be happy.
2. The drain plugs are on the side making access difficult once installed.
3. The vent has to be properly dealt with by routing vent hose high enough to prevent leakeage when tank is full (of course there are many options here).
4. Probably most annoying - sold as 90G - Most I ever could get in there is 80G - and would warn you NOT to top this bay off especially on a hot day! Most I ever put in now is 65-70G.
However, all in all I got what I wanted - a tank that will last a lifetime and that's why I give it a 4 star rating."

Nice Tank.,
March 7, 2007

"The tank isn't exaclty as pictured. There is another vent on the top near the fill hole for venting that needs to be adapted with a hose to prevent foreign objects from entereing the hole. This is easily accomplished with a length of hose and a filter on the end turcked down beside the tank in the bed. The plugs are on the sides of the tank. I misunderstood the description when it said they were on the bottom, I thought it mean on the underside to go through the floor of the truck. At 60" wide, this leave very little room to put the gravity feed kit in place. A 90 degree elbow is required the be able to attach the ball valve and hose. All in all though it's a really nice tank."
