"I researched the fuel/tool combo then purchased it through Northern because it was the best deal.It is very well constructed,I have been using it for a few months and am very pleased with the tank,The only issue I had was the vent,when the tank is full the fuel would splash out,so by adding an elbow and a short pipe nipple and reattaching the vent that was provided the problem was solved."

"I have this unit and it is wonderful. I have the 91 gallon tank and tool box. The tool box has plenty of room and then the extra 91 gallons of diesel fuel helps me to continue for weeks instead of days. The quality is first rate and the appearence is second to none."

"I had no problems with the installation, appearance or functioning of this tank. It appears to be a very well made tank at half the cost of some advertised tanks. The rear flange is directly over a metal cross piece on my Ford F350 and required installing the bolt up through the floor but very doable using a short length of wire to pull the bolt up. I used the diesel fill install kit and it works as advertised. The vent in the tank will splash fuel if left as is. I connected a fitting to my truck vent tube using JB Weld and connected a fuel line to it from the aux. tank vent. This is a very much needed addition for my towing needs."

"Product came quicker than expected and delivery company was quite obliging to my schedule. Had looked at other companies offering tanks but settled on this unit. The photos on the website gave a look at the tank but when the tank arrived there were no instructions in the tank ... only keys taped to the inside.. When I did a dry fit on the unit... only the side flanges would be of any use... the front mounting flange lined up directly above the main tank and the mounting bracket and not accessible without major work. I opted to double secure the both side brackets. ALL mounting flanges should have been at least a half inch wider and maybe and inch longer ( there were 3... some photos showed 4)... The install kit was also vague and with my install on my truck it was a metal downspout so the angle it showed was not acheiveable. The petcock that came with the kit would not completly open but did shut off properly... The tool box is functional but found a eighth inch drill whole in a non important lid area. We do alot of traveling and use the internet to find the deals on fuel.... this tank will help out.... It took a couple three hours to install but it was worth it... It looks very nice in the bed of the truck."

"I gad a long bed 2500 Dodge, with the ease of installation, this is a tank which gave me well over 2000+ mile range to travel. The Aux. tank, took less then 2 hours to install. I have had 2 of these tanks now. What you need is a short bed Model for Dodge.."

"We purchased this tank to install it in out new service truck.Due to the high mileage the vehicle was traveling our service tech was constantly having to stop for fuel,causing considerable downtime.After purchasing and installing this transfer tank and toolbox combo,our sevice truck was more organized better equipped and saved time and money at literally every service call.Being in the manufacturing industry ourselves we appreciate the quality workmanship and the durabilty of this product.The diamond plate aluminum construction is quite attractive and compliments the truck as well as being functional.We know this product will continue to save us time and money in the years to come.The ease of installation was a pleasant surprise and the couplings and fittings fit just like advertised.As a side note,it is my experience that Northern Tool is a great place to shop for quality products and you can expect great service as well. ty ty ty"

"This is a great tank and the tool box is surprisingly decent in size. The overall size is large and takes up a good deal of bed space but a good tradeoff in my case in order to get the extra fuel. The quality of the Tank/box is very good and the finish is good as well. The locks and hinges are well made and the guage is easy to read. It has internal baffles and I have never noticed any movement while driving. The vent will occasionally spit fuel if the tank is full which can be messy but is controllable with a small piece of cloth or foam in the vent tube until the tank level lowers some. Overall I have been very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone looking to increase fuel capacity. Due to the size I am sure it would only work in a full size long wheelbase truck. The installation kit (sold seperately) is pretty straight forward to install and works well except for occasionally overfilling the tank if left on when parked-- not to the point of spilling fuel unless you remove the cap."
