Tailgate saver,

"At last I can connect my 5th wheel trailer plug inside the bed instead of draping the cable over the tailgate and down to the bumper. The locking tab on the harness connector was a little too long (can't push the factory plug in deep enough to engage the lock), so I just trimmed a little off with a box cutter. The 7-way socket is a little lightweight. I wound up replacing it with a combo 7 round/4 flat socket so I could install some "bling" lights on my toolbox and plug them into the 4 pin connector. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase."

"IT WAS A EASY INSTALL. BUT AFTER SOME TIME THE HARNESS LOST CONNECTION AND THE LOCK TAB BROKE. I PUT A ZIP TIE AROUND THE PLUG AND PROBLEM FIXED."

Valley Industries wiring harness,

"After searching the internet for some time, I found the exact part I was looking for on northerntool.com. I needed a wiring harness for my 2005 2500HD truck that didn't involve any cutting or splicing. This part is truly "Plug and Play" and the fit was very good. "Money well spent - Easy to follow directions, plenty of wire to reach the front of a long bed if necessary. You will need an exact size hole saw( I think it's a 2 1/8") to drill through the bed wall to mount the receiver. Good quality- Nice fit & finish."
