"Have only had this device for 3 weeks and so far:
1) found an exhaust leak that wasn't visable without a two-hour disassembly;
2) found a cracked rib in a horizontal stabilizer; and
3) found a dead rodent in a ventilation system.
Have saved at least 6 hours already. GREAT TOOL

Overall Great Tool,
November 2, 2009
"I work as maintenance in commercial office buildings. I bought this Milwaukee M-Spector Camera specifically to look into clogged toilets for clogs. I wouldn't say that it is perfect for the job but it does get it done. I found that for my purpose, it is better if the water is clear. Once I figured that out, I can easily see the clog. I found in one particular toilet, a writing pen. It made it that much easier to unclog.
I also have used this product to find a leaking pipe in a wall. It takes a little practice because the camera isn't always right side up. It's kind of difficult to comprehend what you are actually looking at when your view is upside down. But, like I said, with a little practice and patience I was able to find the exact location of the leak.
I like that this model takes AA batteries because I can keep a couple spare sets inside the case. It actually has a place in the storage case that I can store batteries and it has a lid that snaps close, so the batteries aren't rolling around. The batteries usually last about 6 hours with constant use.
I only gave 4 Stars because of the difficulty in getting used to looking at things upside down or sideways. After overcoming that difficulty, I don't know how I did my job without it.
Overall, I think it is a great tool and it definitely makes my job easier. I recommend it.

"Perfect for working on heavy equipment and trucks. Lets me inspect axles, transmissions, and inside noisy oil pans for engine damage. Very helpful to hunt hidden bolts or brackets."
