Keeps On Going,
November 2, 2009
By guitarplayer

"This drill keeps on going farther then the Energizer Bunny. I am still on the original battery charge and have used this drill many times. It has all the power and speed I need. I even put lag bolts in 2x4s. It is the best cordless drill I have ever used. I like the battery state indicator and the looks."

Northern Cordless Drill 19.2 Volt, 1/2 in.,
November 2, 2009
By Razor1223

"The Magneriun Cordless Drill is the best. I have one and it is good for doing all the cordless drilling needs. It very light weight and easy to use. It also is easy to change a drill bit in it. I was drilling over head and meany holes to drill one thing i found out is that it has a very long battery life. I really liked that. It meant that i did not have to change the battery very offen. When i went to charge up the battery it charged up right of way."

Best "Bang" for Your Buck!!!,
July 20, 2009
By PapaEd
from Hico, Texas
"Cordless drills are all pretty much the same --- WRONG. Most cordless drills have a lot in common. And then one like Northern's Industrial Magnesium comes along and in my opinion takes the lead. This drill resets the industry standard for cordless drills. Its lighter weight makes it very easy to handle. And it's industrial quality battery will out perform all other drills I have come across. I've even used one with a socket to drill in an entire box of 3/8 x 3" lag bolts without any re-charge. Strong as an ox on the last one too.
You compare this drill to other 19.2 Volt cordlesses and for my money, this drill is the top of the line and is the BEST buy for the money!!!"

Great Tool!,
July 13, 2009
By Rickers

"I have used this drill/driver for a few months now and it is great! The battery lasts a long time. It doesn't matter if it's drilling into hardwood or driving screws, the power and torque is there when needed. Charge up time is fast to. With the extra battery that comes with it, you'll run out of juice before this baby!"

Northern Industrial Cordless Drill/Driver Kit,
November 17, 2008
By sure2strike2
from Southern Minnesota
"I purchased this driil about a mouth ago and am very pleased with its power and length of battery life. I've only had one small problem with it and that is that the screw that holds the chuck in place worked loose causing the chuck to malfuntion. I applied a bit of thread lock and retightened it and haven't had any problems sence. I highly recommend this drill to anyone looking for a quality battery drill."

"THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST CORDLESS DRILL I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY HANDS. I OWN FOUR OTHERS AND THEY CAN NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO LASTING ON BATTERY POWER OR DOING THE JOB I AM DOING WITH OUT A LOT OF PRESURE. I WANT TO GET ANOTHER ONE SOON. I PLAN TO GET ONE FOR MY SON FOR A HOLIDAY."

great buy,
June 10, 2008
By toolfool
from Buffalo, NY. area
"Just received my drill last week and am currently putting the finishing touches on a 9x25 treated lumber deck. The drill easily bored through the 4x4 and 4x6 posts while using a 1/2 " auger bit. Knocked off 20 holes and still had enough power left to drive a 1/2 lb. or better 3 1/2 inch deck screws without changing batteries.
So far thrilled with the product for its quality and price. Not a professional but do a good deal of home improvements and was happy to be able to obtain a drill with this much power at such a reasonable price. Warranty is great also.
A little surprised the second battery didn't come with a plastic protector top however. Maybe mine was just an oversight at the factory. But for the average handyman IMO you can't go wrong with this drill."
