Cast Iron Double Burner Stove,

"I was not impressed with the quality of this stove. Missing hardware, fit and finish were the main problems. I was not able to use the stove because of the missing hardware. The stove did not have a high enough heat output for what I needed."

"I got this stove to do home brewing and camping. It assembes easily but the hardware included is junk. Get 1/4x20 x1 stainless flathead bolts and 1/4 x20 stailess nuts and washers if you want the legs and burners to stay on and tight. It works well and heats up a gallon pot of water quick. Always place the stove on something solid that can't thaw or melt. Lightweight and portable. Only down side is the grill surface on a two burner is small for BIG pots."

Cast Iron Double Burner Propane Stove,
October 5, 2008
By dren232 from Quitman, Texas 75783
"I received my 2 burner lp gas stove last week. It was easy to assemble, only taking a few minutes. Then a quick trip to the lp gas store to get a hose crimped to the perfect length to use on my RV. The hose was inexpensive and I used the regulator from my gas grill. It worked great. I turned it on for a test and the flame was perfect. My unit had fresh paint and it took a few minutes to burn it off. The paint smoke was not pleasant, so I would not recommend doing the first burn inside the house or RV. To my amazement this little stove is extremely hot and burns evenly on the pan. It's the perfect size to take camping or RV'ing. If you are looking for a good sear on your steak, this stove will do it. I would recommend this product to friends. This was my first mail order purchase from this company and everything went great. Shipping was fast too. Don"

Propane stove,
January 14, 2008
"I recently purchased a double burner propane stove. I have since installed it in an outdoor kitchen and found it to be everything it was advertised to be. It heats well cooks evenly and is very reliable. The instructions for assembly were easy to follow and the unit assembled quickly.
In use about 3 months the only down side so far is that the screws used for assembly have begun to rust and I will probably change them to Stainless Steel eventually.
Included in the packaging was a notice that if during assembly I broke any part that I could notify the manufactuer and they would replace the part free of charge.
About 2 weeks ago I was attempting to change out the threded connection for a quick connect. I didn't realize that the only thing supporting the supply manifold was the two brass supply valves. When I tried to unscrew the threaded connection I broke the Valves. I sent an email to northern describing what I had done and they responded with the phone number of the manufacturer Hurricane Products. I called them and they agreed to send me two new valves free of charge. This kind of service is not found today and I will certainly continue to purchase products from the Northern catalogue.
I would suggest that a support to the supply manifold be added to help prevent this type of problem."

"This is my second purchase of this item in 5 years. The old one is still going strong but really grungy from all the use, so for aesthetics sake I decided to reward myself with a new unit.. You cannot beat the value for the price."

Cast Iron Double Burner aids Canning Process,
October 8, 2007
By JW4900 from Umpqua Valley, Oregon
"I bought a double burner and a single burner for a specific reason which proved true once in use. The double burner works great (see review provided by JW4900 for single burner) but cannot fit two large canners together on the width provided by the double burner...therein the purchase of both a double and single. I can have two very large pots or canners on each of the separate units. Or, I can use the double burner to heat, using both burners at once, a large deep rectangular pan to process many canning jars at once. I'm please with the purchase, BTU output and control provided. If this double burner was 5" wider it would be the ultimate as it would accomodate two large pots at once. As is, it's great for fitting a flat pancake grill or two medium size pots...suitable for most users. Remember to buy a connector while you're ordering."
