Heavy Duty Park Style Grill,
December 25, 2006
"I am a die hard charcoal only grill man--no propane for me! As such I wanted a heavy duty grill that I could permanently locate and that would withstand the weather. I chose this particular grill because I have used this type of grill in state parks before and have been impressed with their durability and function. I was not disappointed, this grill is everything expected! I have been extremely satisfied with this product. If you enjoy charcoal as opposed to propane like me, then I highly reccommend this grill! Tip: I buried a piece of PVC pipe slightly larger than the base of the grill about 2 inches below ground level and set it in concrete, after the concrete set up I simply slipped the base of the grill into the PVC pipe sealed around it with silicone and covered with dirt. Now when I move I can easily take my awesome grill with me. Hope this helps. Enjoy!!"

Great Grill,
October 19, 2009
"I installed this grill at my Hunting Camp and absolutely love it. It is built very well and easy to take inside when we leave camp. All my hunting buddies now bring steaks and beer to camp and this grill is lit every night that we are there. The price on the grill can't be beat, especially since I haven't had to buy camp meat since the first time we using it."

Neat item but question longevity,

"This is a great park style grill that is very authentic, sturdy, and heavy. Its a conversation piece too. I've mounted the pole in concrete and it looks great. Its held up ok in the elements so far, but there were some chips on it that have rusted a bit so my only concern is longevity. Also, be carefull not to slide the grill forward while shifting around your cooking as it will drop to the lowest level - There's nothing to lock it in place. One more thing, the grill spins on the pole so you can position it to block the wind on the coals, but you can't lock it into position and it will move on you as you're cooking. There is one lockable position only and the pin they give you is way too small."

July 13, 2009
"The excact grill you find in most city or state parks! I purchased a similar one from another online source. Nothing like the one from Northern . This thing is heavy duty thick steel. Easy to install. This will last a lifetime.
Thanks Northern"

Park Grill,
March 16, 2009
"Great Item at the best price on the net that I could find.Very high quality and built with heavy guage steel.I would expect that this will last for many years as I have seen these used in local parks and playgrounds that I have visited over the years.Ajustable and flip up rack make for easy clean out and cooking height. Don't think you will find a better deal than this one. Fantastic !!!!!"

THIS THING ROCKS!,

"This is the coolest Item I have bought from Northern since my 30 Ton log splitter. I look forward to running it every night , summer or winter. Heavy Duty is what it is and then some. You could have a camp fire in this thing and make bacon & eggs in the morning it's that thick!
I did find the mounting instructions a little peculiar, park style grills are supposed to be low to the ground, but before I poured the concrete I decided to increase the height of it a little. I never bothered installing the lock pin, it has enough weight to hold it on it's pedestal and makes it easy to remove for the extreme winter months where I am at.
Everyone who comes over for a Q in the summer just loves it!

Great Product,

"My husband has wanted a park grill for many years and so for his birthday this year I purchased this one for him; I can not get him to come inside anymore as all he wants to do is cook on this grill.
My best friends husband saw the grill and he got one for his birthday as well; she is having the same issue with her husband. Oh well, at least we girls now have control of the T.V. remote"
