"The Northern Tool T-hook offering is excellent. Heavy-duty and fits nicely in the T-holes of my new Corvette.
With specialty cars such as a Corvette, proper towing and securing is critical, otherwise major damage can result. You cannot just hook chains to the control arms or random suspension members etc. MUST be T-hooks in the proper T-holes.
I carry four spare T-hooks around in my Corvette tool kit just in case the car ever needed to be flat-bedded and the local flat bed service does not have the proper T-hooks on hand. Because I'd never allow the car to be pulled without proper T-hooks.
Many other cars these days utilize the T-hook system as well... this is not just for Corvettes. If you have a nice new car, chances are it will require T-hooks for pulling and securing to a flat bed. Do yourself a favor and buy a set, keep `em in your in-car tool kit.
