A Great Product!,
July 9, 2007

"I bought this ramp set to use for running my wife's electric cart up into the back of my vehicle. Although I was surprised at the large number of nuts and bolts, the ramps went together easily. Every necessary part was included with no missing pieces and none left over. The ramps are sturdy, light and easy to manage. Because they fold in half they are convenient to store or to carry in the vehicle. They fit nicely into the back of my station wagon with the rear seats folded down and make loading and unloading the electric cart a snap."

"These ramps are very lightweight and easy to use. The initial construction is a little time consuming but well worth it. I like the versatility of using them as a loading ramp and also using them to clean my mower deck."

folding ramps/ errector set,
November 17, 2008

"These ramps needed assembling. There were 182 pieces if i remember correctly. Each rung has to be installed onto the side rails, as do the hinge halves and the supports on the ends.
I own a Hustler Z lawn mower with a 60 inch deck and the first time i loaded it using these ramps they bent . I question the 1400 pound rating. I have continued to use them to load my mower and they have not bent any more.

"I have used these ramps for a while now and they have been great. They fold up easy and are well built. The only pain with them is putting them together but once that is done you do not have to do it again."

Ramp Up Your Life,
April 15, 2008
By Freeflowr
from Royal Oak, MI
"This product has proven to be almost everything it claims to be. Assembly of these truck bed ramps was relatively easy and the directions were straight forward and easy to follow.
The materials appear to be of high quality. The materials supplied for the assembly of these ramps was appropriate, they even supplied a few extra bolts, nuts and washers, just in case, with everything packaged protectively and neatly in a box about 4" thick by about 12" wide by about 40" long.
One point that I found confusing is that the advertising for the product claims that these folding ramps can be used for vehicle service ramps although the instructions provided with the ramps says NOT to use them for this purpose. Since I did not purchase them for that purpose it is of little consequence to me.
The product assembles in approximately 1 hour, is easy to use with secure setup at the truck bed taking about 5 minutes tops including the time it takes to carry them from the garage to the vehicle. And they sure beat lifting heavy equipment such as an auger type 5 H.P. snow thrower or lugging long heavy homemade ramps around (which of course hang out past the tailgate)!
All in all these ramps are a quality product at an attractive price, easy to assemble and easy to use. Their light weight and space saving folding design makes them fairly easy to store and to carry in the vehicle when transporting equipment.
Thanks Northern for making my life easier! Again!

"Bought these after I had purchased one of your Tri Fold ramps as the Tri Fold was being used to load/unload equipment from a storage building.
These ramps are easy to fold and carry. The way they are made with an "arc" make loading Garden Tractors with a mower really easy and the Mower Deck doesn't "drag" when loading/unloading. Very well built.
