Used Rain Barrels Work Well,

"The rain barrels hold water as designed. They are the cheapest I've found. The dual faucets easily allow chaining multiple barrels with a piece of used garden hose."

"several months getting the item after ordering.lower holes in the barrel were to large and unable to get the spigot in tight enough to seal so they didn't leak. The upper spigot hole were tight enough to prevent leaks. I ordered two barrels and one came with with a dent and impact cut about half way up the barrels side that may prove to leak. Has not rained yet to test ."

"I shopped around a lot before I made this purchase and I am happy with the size and durability of the barrel itself. I like the two spigots and they work well but appear like they might need reinforcing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that there is a lot of writing on the barrel and it will need to be painted over in order to look better. Otherwise, it is the absolute best rain barrel for the money I could find, and I got it very quickly."

"I am very happy with my rain barrel. I have had great experiences with the telephone customer service and order departments. The product is durable and ready for instant use. Delivery was very good. Due to problems beyond the NT company, I am waiting for a second barrel that is on B/O, but, they are working very hard to complete my order and send my second rain barrel as soon as possible. I would not hesitate to order from Northern Tool again for other products, and would definitely recommend them to my friends. Sandi from Franklin, NC"

"The rain barrel is the best value I could find. My only complaint is that there should be a third spigot (located at the bottom) to facilitate the linking of more than one barrel is series. Otherwise, it is great."

"This thing worked perfectly for me. The lid is like a canning top. I drilled 4 3inch holes in the lid, covered it with screen, and secured it with the rim. The first rain we got was less than a quarter inch and it filled the barrel. I'm going to put one on each of my downspouts asap."
