Good Little Machine,

"Previous to this tiller, I owned a Tecumseh tiller similar in size, for 9 years. The transmission gear went. The cost of repair was as much as this brand new tiller cost.
Skeptically purchased, it delivered 3 days later. Within 15 minutes it was on the job, and it breezed through. It started right up, no fooling around.
Some of the features that I like that were not on the old one are the opaque tank, used to have to guess how much fuel I had on board. It also has a set of easily retractable wheels, so you can quickly adjust the depth of cut.
Nice features, decent quality, and a price to match. It's worth it.
Since then, I have used it at least a half dozen times. Keep right on ticking.

Nice machine if you like to work on it.,

"I bought the MC43 Mini-tiller last fall and used it f few times before the end of the growing season. Before winter storage I ran it out of fuel so as to avoid any fuel gumming problems over the winter. After fueling it up this spring it wouldn't start. Upon further investigation I discovered that the fuel supply and return lines had broken off INSIDE the fuel tank at the pass-through grommet. Okay fine. So I proceed to remove the tank to perform the fuel line replacement only to discover the captured-nut molded into the bottom of the plastic fuel tank was cross-threaded on initial assembly and rotates in place, not allowing removal of the mounting screw. Finally got the thing removed after much aggravation (and a few well-chosen curses) and removed the tank and replaced the broken fuel lines with better quality lines. The machine started immediately and ran fine. The next time I used it the engine quit after a few minutes. I discovered the spark plug wire had popped off the plug. I pushed it back on & continued to run the machine. A few minutes later it stopped again. Plug wire popped off again. Upon closer inspection I discovered that the plug connector under the plug boot was assembled incorrectly (It is truly an oddball design). I ended up having to remove the boot from the plug wire and use an E-clip to secure the wire to the plug (works perfectly now). It is an adequate little machine for light gardening work or weeding between rows (which is what I use it for). It IS noisy but runs well (when it runs). Gee, I can't wait to see what breaks next! (lol)"

"I puchased an Earthquake cultivator last May and it ran good the rest of the year, but this year the tines quit rotating and the company is very slow about standing behind their product, if they will at all. I would not recomend this product to anyone."

Earthquake MC43,
April 2, 2009
"Bought this unit to replace one of similar size from a manufacturer no longer in business. The Earthquake MC43 does not till the ground as easily or as deep as my old one. There were times when I thought my old unit would have dug all the way to China. This new MC43 will never get close!"

Worth Every Penny,
August 30, 2008
"I always wanted an Mantis, but didn't want to pay what they were asking for it. I ran accross this one and it looks nearly identical to a honda one, except this one has a two stroke, and the honda one was a hundred more. I have used it several times and it has worked flawlessly, great for small to medium sized jobs."
