Good for small area, August 18, 2008

"I purchased this product for a small city lot, with numerous oak and maple trees. The sweeper worked well as long as the grass had been recently cut; the light weight of the unit was problematic if the grass was longer.
In short grass, pickup was good and the sweeper made short work of leaves. The large bin meant that emptying the unit was reasonably infrequent.
When I moved to a larger suburban home (.75 acre lot), the unit was impractical. In addition to deciduous trees the new home also had pine trees. The unit was less effective with pine needles. Instead, I moved up to a tow-behind Agri-Fab sweeper that is more effective in picking up needles."
