"For the price it does what should be expected. If you think this product will replace the manual labor that a rake requires your wrong. This will however aid in the over all cleanup of your yard space."

Swisher Lawn Sweeper Model SP-38,

"I was some what disapointed with this product. After receiving the sweeper it was hard to put together and the instructions were not easy to understand. The sweeper works only 50 percent of the time. If you have a small yard the sweeper is hard to turn around. On large lawns it dose work better, however it is hard to get the speed you drive adjusted to where the sweeper will work. I find it works best if you drive at a slow pace and it still leaves clippings behind that will need to be raked up."

Swisher Tow Behind Swepper,
July 11, 2007

"For the money, this is a very good lawn sweeper. The assembly instructions in some steps were vague, but if you have mechanical skill, you can figure out the in-between steps. The discharge bag works like a swing, so dumping is fine, provided you have spot you've designated to do so. The catch does not release, so it isn't "portable". The sweep mechanism is sturdy and is adjustable as well. I've used this unit now for about two months, and overall performs well. The Fall will provide the ultimate test with leaves mixed with grass clippings. This unit is worth the small investment, and time will tell how well it endures the seasons."

Tow type lawn sweeper, works well enough!,

"This sweeper is not perfect by a long shot, neither is it as bad as some have said. Although mine was delivered with a defective wheel, (that I replaced at my expense) this is my third season to use it and it does an acceptable job picking up leaves, grass clippings and even deer droppings from our acre lawn. It is not very maneuverable and difficult to back with, so I drop it off in tight places. It also takes a good bit of storage space when not in use. In open areas it is very easy to use, it pulls easily and it dumps easily without getting off the tractor seat. It is not practical for the average city lot but for larger lawns, it is very cost effective."
