Removes oil spots off driveways!, April 22, 2008
By Poolcleaner from Oregon

"Purchased sandblast unit to connect to 3000 psi pressure washer, to remove paint from concrete. It worked well, but worked even better on some oil stains on a driveway! Will no doubt help on future jobs as well!"

Pressure washer abrasive blaster, October 31, 2007
By AlanN from Vermont

"Bought this item at the store in West Allis (?) Wi, while traveling. Haven't used it a lot but so far I'm pleased with how it works. Definately puts out sand enough, best to use it with cheap sand as it's going to go through a lot. There is still some blast media that gets bounced back at your face so you need a shield of some sort of protect your eyes.
The box mine came in had been opened and there were no instructions included. It was fairly intuitive to assemble, the only that that I had to learn from sad experience was that you need to have the sand inlet on the top of the nozzle assembly. If it is on the bottom it WILL get water into the sand hose and once the hose gets wet it quits feeding."

"works well", July 27, 2007
By thomas1 from central PA

"I thought about getting this attachment to remove the rusty spots on some farm equipment that had also peeled and bubbled. After reading some of the reviews, I thought I would give it a shot as I was hoping for something that would get into the cracks and crevices, around the bolt heads, everywhere it's hard to wire brush. I recieved it today and put it on my 2500 psi washer with some old play sand in a bucket, just to play with it. I was shocked at how well it worked. Wire brushing will be minimal. Real blasting abrasive should work even better in the unit. It should also work well to do some old steel railings I've been putting off. It's very simple, just snap it on and stick the draw tube in a bucket of dry sand. I'm very pleased."

Anybody with a pressure washer should have one, July 9, 2007
By Chipp from Altoona PA.

"I bought the first blaster kit about 5 years ago I just bought two more so I could have
one to use myself, all of my freinds borrow it .
Very easy to use ,works best at 2500lbs. @3-5 GPM .
I have run about 3-4 ton of black beuaty thru this nozzle and the tip is just starting
to show signs of wear. I have worn out two hoses and have had to repair the input
suction side on the tip.
Very nice unit for the cost"

Excellent rust and paint removal tool, March 7, 2007
By OldboaterMike from Scotia, New York

"The abrasive blasting kit does with less expensive equipment what a very expensive compressed air set up will do, but costs considerably less and, combined with a Northern pressure washer properly rated, also keeps the job cleaner and has other uses as well. I used my kit to remove the rust and paint from a period boat trailer for my mahogany boat, and rather than having a lot of dust flying, filling the air with all kinds of harmful materials for breathing, I blew it all off with water, keeping the dust to almost zero and wetted down. A suggestion to anyone using this is to have a helper handle the feed wand for the abrasive so you can keep your focus on the work, reduces wasted effort and abrasive."

Really blasts the rust and paint to bare metal., January 17, 2007
By Goodbar from Hendersonville, NC

"The first time I used it with my pesssure washer I was amazed at the power it had. I stuck the "sucker" tube into a sack of plain sand and it pulled it into the blaster and powered the paint and rust off to a clean surface ready to prime and paint.

Beacuse it works through the pressure washer it also has the benefit of the high-pressure washing to clean away the dirt and the mud that was on the surface. Then it washed the grity powder off in the same process. Lots faster than sand-blasting with air. I don't have to have electricity to sand blast. I can sand blast away from anything that I want to keep grit and dirt away from. Completely portable with my gas powered 2850-psi Northern Tool Pressure washer.
I use it on the tractor 3-point implements, the metal yard furniture, rusty tools, removing old dried paint from concrete and asphalt."
