"Perfect for filling my tractor. Dispenses a little slow. A little unstable to carry when half full. Can fill the tractor twice with the recommended capacity of 14.3 gallons."

Blitz portable fuel transfer tank,
July 20, 2009
"The tank works well. The tank is a little heavy when full to move out of the transporting vehicle to its use location. The nozzle runs slightly slower than I exspected, but has no leaks, and is of good quality. Overall, the tank is great for my use of transporting fuel to my boat on the boatlift. I would highly recommend this tank, as long as you realize the total wieght of the full tank if you have to move it while full."

15-Gallon fuel station,
July 13, 2009
By Argus
from North east Texas
"Ordered the 15 gallon Blitz fuel station to use on my Dodge one ton truck. The 15 gallons is just less (volume wise) than half a tank on the truck. With the fuel station it gives me about 775 to 800 miles of travel time before refueling becomes necessary. I used it in June,'09 on vacation from East Texas to the Hoover Dam in Arizona. Pulling a travel trailer and driving into a head wind on some days, gas mileage was less than expected. The fuel station gave me the extra miles in several instances to make it to our scheduled over night stop without having to find a gas station. Using it at rest stops for breaks ( we took pets with us) it made it very convenient. The unit is well built, easy to assemble, and has become a component in my truck inventory right next to the jack."

Fuel Station,
November 17, 2008
By Genman
from Las Vegas, NV
"I use the Blitz 15 gallon fuel station to fuel my ATV"S it works great. It is much easier to fill this unit and leave it in the bed of the pickup and use the hose to reach down to the ATV's than it is to use multiple smaller plastic containers by lifting them in and out and fussing with the plastic fill necks that always leak fuel. Using it is as easy as using a fuel pump hose at the gas station. The only minor issue is the valve at the bottom of the tank is difficult to use."

Rough start but now it works well,
November 17, 2008
"I ordered 2 of these to fuel all my stuff, atvs, mowers, etc. Make sure all the threads are sealed with liquid teflon sealer. I just used the tape and then after filling I found I had a leak. It was a real pain to empty and redo everything. One of the units had a bad nozzle that just sprayed fuel everywhere. Northern Tool has awesome customer service and sent a replacement right away.
I installed some shelves that keep these up high so there is no problem with fuel flow. They are pretty heavy when full and getting them up on the shelves is a bit of a challenge but once there they work great.
The hose holds quite a bit of fuel so you need to pay attention when filling tanks if you want to get all the fuel out of the hose for storage.
The nozzle holds a fair amount of fuel also and doesn't stop immediately when you release the handle. You need to pay particular attention when you are filling small tanks.
Convenience of this product outweighs the negatives in my opinion.

Nice Fuel Station,
October 5, 2008
"I bought this tank about 1 month ago. I read all the reviews and found that they were were acceptable. I was not dissapointed when mine arrived. All of the fittings bolted onto the tank were tight and had a visible sealer applied. No leaks after filling it.
My use for this tank is a safe and easy way to store some extra fuel for the hurricane season. Ran my generator for 4 days after gustav and wished I had not procrastinated in buying one last year.
The fuel flow is a little slow. The hose is large, but the hose fittings neck down to about a 3/8 on each threaded side. Its not an issue for my intentions. I may order a little 12v pump to make things a little quicker. I want the ability to fill a running generator or hot lawnmower with some control and precision.
As is or with a little ingenuity, this tank has countless uses. Boats, RV, reserve fuel capacity. Neat little tank and a decent price.
Suggestions for improvement:
Fuel level gauge.
Holder for the nozzle.
Dirt protector for nozzle tip.
