"very good product for the money. however, unable to find replacement bulbs for item. that's why I have to purchase another set of lights. but because this item is so cheap, it's not a big deal."

"I purchased a few sets of these lights for my 4x4 truck. I wasn't planning on using them for a driving spotlight like they're "rated" to be, but as side and reverse lighting. If you're buying these for forward facing driving/spot lights, you'll be disappointed. Since I wasn't using them for this, I wasn't disappointed with the beam pattern.
I have four of these lights mounted behind the glass in my cap facing rearwards on my truck, they aid in backing up, attaching trailers, seeing what's behind you when 4-wheeling and blinding jerks that ride your bumper or high-beam you. I also have some facing rearward on my lightbar for when my cap is off, along with some facing the sides (think ally lights on police cruisers) so I have complete 360* lighting for when I'm off-roading.
These lights are PERFECT for the above uses, I'm actually planning on purchasing some more to use on my snowmobiles, ATVs and lawnmowers so I have better lighting.
I'm only rating this a 4/5 because of the deceptive "rating" of a "Driving Spotlight", which it is not."

"People call me white lightning for the reason that i have 18 lights of these, 4 wide angle, and 6 100 watters. I would recommend anyone of these lights to you guys. these are bright to 100 feet away, then they have a area of 25 feet wide for 100 feet away. they use 4.5 amps each. DO NOT USE THESE ON PAVED CITY ROADS. THESE ARE ILLEGAL TO HAVE ANY AUXILARY LIGHTS ON WITH THE VEHICAL IN MOTION. With that said I take a chance and bet on not getting stoppped. I have submerged these in a lake trying to get a boat out. they still work. hitt a crub and still work. These have stopped me from hitting many dear. Best place for them in back up lights and angled ditch lights or side security lights on your vehicle. ALWAYS USE A FUSED CURCUIT AND MAKE SURE YOUR SWITCH CAN HANDLE THE POWER. at this cheap of a price it easy to over do............your power system. but not your wallet and certainly not your looks. lights alway make people think you mean busness"

Northern Industrial Halogen Driving Sportlight,
November 18, 2008
By Threegunshooter

"I ordered these to use as backup / work lights on my 2006 GMC one ton diesel dually for camping, work and backup lights. When I ordered these, I thought the price was per light and was pleasantly surprised when the order arrived and I had twice as many lights as I needed (they came two to a box, not mentioned in the advertisement). I was looking for a clear, non-fluted lens and these lights fit the bill.
I mounted two lights on my headache rack to one switch and two lights below my rear bumper to a second switch. These lights are very bright and work very well for this purpose. I need a wide pattern that throws a lot of light behind the truck and I am not concerned (in this case) if the pattern is not good for driving (when mounted to the front). I also added a pair to the rear of both of my Polaris Sportman quad runners for night work / backup use.
Good value for the price, no idea how long these bulbs will last. I have not subjected them to lots of water (just washed the truck), but did notice that a small percentage of the light lenses seemed to be a little fogged on the inside (does not affect brightness, just appearance).

Unsure,
September 11, 2008
"I bought a pair for my hunting truck and the ones at the store, same size, same price, are very different from the ones shown here. Could not find these at the store. Mine are plastic, nothing holds the actual light in except the clip on outer cover. The cover "seems" suspect and I think one of the lights will loose the actual light on the first real bump I hit. Jury is till out. Just posted this so those looking for steel, screwed in lights, will not get them at the North Dallas store. They are plastic."

Good light,
September 4, 2008
"Bought these for my Kubota. I needed extra work lights for the rear and wanted the smallest lamps I could find. These fit the bill nicely. There is a bunch of light from these lamps. They are more spot beams than work lights though. I sand blasted the glass lens and hey presto, awsome diffused light!
Not to forget cheap to replace if they get broken!
I would recommend these.

Pleasant surprise.,
April 14, 2008
"Surprisingly bright little spot lights. They don't have the power or range to make a good driving light, but they make exceptional back up lights mounted to the hitch of my truck. With so many "small light" application possibilities you definitely can't go wrong, especially considering the ultra low cost."

Hallogen Lights,
April 14, 2008
"Great little lights. Lots of light out of a compact package! Has a seperate ground wire so it's not grounded by the bracket. This was great because my lights are mounted on a plastic base. (golf cart front end) Throws a nice shaped beam of light. I'm ordering another set for my truck! I have paid a lot more for less light!"
