"I heat my home with firewood and couldn't get the heat distrubited through out my house. I installed a duct through my attic with a duct booster in it. What a differnece. My duct booster has been in for about 8 years now and runs fulltime all winter and is still going strong."

"I have a maze of duct work in the basement and over two crawl spaces. Almost all of it is planned out very well and the air runs smoothly. However in this one final far stretch and the end of a branch line, the velocity of the air drops too low to make much of an output flow into the very back bedroom. It was not really feasible nor practicle to re-route the whole branch, thus affecting three other rooms working fine. I just needed a little boost. This product worked great. It cannot be directly wired to the blower for operation during heating AND cooling, so you are best to buy the seperate air switch that will operate it in both heating and cooling modes and the wiring is much simplier. There is a catch, the sensitivity of the air switch is fixed, so placing it in a branch with air flow 90 degrees to it is not very reliable to keep the switch in the closed position. Rather place it in the direct path of air flow and it works like a charm. Booster only pulls 0.5A and pays for itself quickly. Am very satisfied and would buy again."
