"This is a well made heavy duty safety can designed to take rough handling and remain intact and leak free. There are no cheap shortcuts or sloppy assembly used in the manufacture of this can. The spout must be mounted to the can with a gasket using 2 screws. Although it wasn't suggested, I used some fuel proof gasket sealer when assembling. As you may have guessed, the price of this item is far beyond that of a cheap plastic leaker. It is worth the extra price if you use a gas can often. It is safe, strong and reliable. One small drawback: the can is heavy. When filled with 5 gallons of gas, the average lady will have trouble lifting, pouring and holding the handles in the open position."

"They finally made a portable gas can that doesn't leak or spill all over the place. Old "safety" cans were dangerously impossible to pour. These cans work. It's about time. And they don't need a separate cap which is, of course, always the first thing you misplace. I like these cans."

"This is a great can for filling up generators, power washers. I hated the plastic nozzles they make on the plastic gas cans. It always took three hands to use them, and if you are not very careful gas would spill everywhere. I see the price went up on it, just as gas did. I am very pleased with this purchase!"

"I had grown tired of spilling and smelling gas every time I filled a small gas tank. This can is the perfect solution (and its US made!). Excellent sealing on both fill and pour necks. The flexible pour spout puts the gas where you want it. You definitely get what you pay for here."

"I bought four of these and I just love them. I use them for storing fuel for emergency generators and my lawn and garden equipment. They will not spill if tipped over, they do not leak if they are in the back of a vehicle making stops or turns and they do not make a mess when you use them. The fuel dispenses just like it should and it is easy to use. The tanks are a tiny bit difficult to fill as it takes some effort to lift the filler neck cap off and insert the nozzle while holding the filler cap back (heavy spring loaded). Otherwise they are perfectly balanced and the handle is comfortable to carry with. I highly recommend this to anyone storing/transporting flamable liquids in a car, truck, garage or barn, etc. It gets a 4 stars instead of a 5 because the filler cap is hard to open."

"i was sick of wasting more money on those "bargin"plastic cans, so i sprung for a real can! only regret is not buying them earlier and avoiding the hassel. i can load them up in my truck and not worry something pucturing it in my travels. the metal nozzel is alot easier to use than those push/pull nozzels i had before. durable,easy, hassel-free, you get what you pay for."
