By Jocko
from Crooked River Ranch,Or.
"I have app 700 sq ft of shop space to heat and in central Oregon it gets very cold in the winter . This litlle heater has done a great job of keeping me warm while I build my projects. For the price it puts out plenty of heat and circulates it very well."

Ouellet Shop/Garage Heater,
March 16, 2009
By daddio529
from pennsylvania
"This compact heater is amazing !! I puchased the Ouellet model# OCH4000WB with a specific use in mind and it"s performance has far exceeded my expectations !! I use my 2 1/2 car garage as a winetr playroom in pennsylvania with a pool table and ping-pong table and more expensive space heaters from your local Big-Chain stores just did'nt cut it ! This one allowed us to play in t-shirts this frigid winter without a big increase in my electric bill !! Kudos to Northern Tool for carrying THE BEST AS ALWAYS !!"

WOW ITS LOUD,
December 1, 2008
By plowzilla
from Bartlett, IL
"I ordered the unit for my attached garage. After I plugged it in the fan balde stuck to the inside metal. After a few jabs with a screw driver, I got it to run. It is way to loud for my garage. The cheaply designed cage rattles like a snake. If you are looking for strickly heat, it does heat nicely according to its wattage. That is the only reason I gave it two stars instead of one. Not recommended for attached garages."

Good Heater,
November 18, 2008
By BigBug
from SE KS
"It runs well, heats a 20x28 garage just fine here in KS. Good airflow and not to loud. It had some shipping damage and NT offered to send another one. I wanted to be warm sooner than later so I fixed it and it has worked well."

"I have a 25" x 40' fully insulate garage work shop. The winter temperatures rarely dip below 30 degrees F. here in Tucson, Arizona. The heater does an excellent job of keeping my shop nice and warm."

Small,
January 16, 2008
By Benton
from Colorado Springs, CO
"I purchsed this heater under the impression that it would heat my 24 x 30 insulated garage. After a good snow I plugged it in for 5 hours and had no results at warming up anything. Maybe it would work on something smaller."

Ouellet HD electric garage heater,
January 15, 2008
By FrankB
from New Mexico
"The Ouellet heavey duty garage workshop heater is well made. I was actually surprized at the quality as I expected it to be made in China. It's not, it's made in Canada. The unit was very easy to intall, just 2 screws and plug it in. I did have to change the outlet in my garage to accomodate the plug but that was easy. The thermostat works well and cycles the unit off and on and kept the temperature comfortable."

Great little heater at a reasonable price,
January 15, 2008
By eftey
from Southern California
"I'm using this heater in my two-car garage/shop. Heats up the 500+ square feet in just a few minutes. Very simple design, very solidly built -- much better than the $40 dollar cheapies you can get at the local hardware/discount center. Makes a bit more noise than I would like, but I can live with that. I expect this little unit will outlive me (I am 64). Note: It requires a 220V power source."
