Deluxe Meat Tenderizer,
October 8, 2007
"This implement does a quite competent job of tenderizing meat. We use it on beef, chicken and pork. The meat does need to be thick for optimum results.
The only problem is the cleaning when the tenderizing is complete. It is extremely difficult to clean."

Just what we needed!,
March 7, 2007
"We needed something to tenderize the meat we cut when processing venison. I ordered this one from Northern. It worked just as we thought it would. It does a good job tenderizing the meat with 24 individal knives that pierce the meat. It works better when you don't try to go too fast. Also, you need to hold the tension on the front end of the meat after it begins to come out to keep it moving along so it doesn't get jammed up on the back end. Once we learned that we were able to go much faster.
You do need to buy a special brush to clean it after using it since there are many individual knives inside, so it takes a while to clean. But still worth the price we paid for it."
