"I have been making sausage for 50+ years. Started in my father's store in 1953. He used a big Hobart professional grinder in sausage making at 100's of pounds sausage/week. I know meat grinder performance, and the Northern Industrial Meat Grinder is comparable if you are going to make sausage at home. Last week we made 114# of assorted sausages. The grinder handled the meat, grinding faster than we could feed the hopper. You will be please with this grinder for doing small batches of your favorite meats at home.
