"I purchased one of these to protect our new raised beds garden. We found out that it did not reach to the end of the garden so we purchased a second one to put at the other end. Our garden was not bothered by deer or any other animals when ever we could remember to turn them on. The three second spray time might be a little longer so the spray has time to go through the whole range of the setting. but other wise it has worked very good up until the time I ran over one with the truck."

"I've only had the device a couple of weeks but it is working great. It took some time to set-up; but, the ducks and geese don't eat the grass and leave droppings in the area anymore.
Works like a charm -I'm not sure how long the 9V battery will last but so far it's been going for about 2 weeks."

"Works great for a small garden. Deer were no longer an issue. Sprinkler is good for about 2 summers. It seems like it ought to last longer. Plastic gets brittle, and clear plastic motion sensing window gets cloudy so it looses sensitivity."

"I recently purchased one of these Havahart motion detecting sprinklers, and am as satisfied as a guy could be. My need for such a sprinkler came when my neighbors' cats insisted on using my yard and landscaping as their litter box. When the appeals to my neighbor to keep her cats indoors were ignored, this sprinkler sounded like the next best option, and boy was it ever. The day it arrived, I unpacked it, assembled it, and set it up in it's intended "target rich environment." The only thing I had to do was sit back and wait. Later, while out in the garage, I hear the distinct sound of sprinkler cutting the late afternoon air, and to my amusement, I see a wet cat running for cover. This thing is Awesome!
In summary, this product is easy to assemble, easy to set up, has up to a 30 foot range, adjustable sensitivity levels that work like they are supposed to, and operates on a 9 volt battery.
If you have "problem cats," or animals eating your garden, this is the product you've been looking for."

"I purchased 2 of these this spring. They really worked. Saved my entire sweet corn crop from those pesky racoons! Easy to setup. Install them and forget about them. I would hear them activate and there was always some critter out there. These devices scared them off as advertised. They even deterred some of my pesky neighbors!"

"I love this product. I bought one 4 yrs ago to keep my neighbors animals out of my yard but discovered it's use for so much more and now I have 5. I have used it to deter my own dog from digging under my gate and even chewing on my fence. After a short time, it changed her behavior. It will keep solicitors or other unwanted strangers out of your yard and off your property. It may not be an alarm but it sure does the job of one. Day or night. I never go out of town without them turned on. Because of those reasons a lot of my "single" friends and neighbors have purchased them for their homes. It also has the great benefit of watering your yard or plants a bit and can be adjusted from one small direct spot or a complete area and the distance of the spray is also adjustable. It is great hooked up to a "timer" on the hose."
