"Solid and well made, but slow and can't find a good way to catch the slices. They just fall out the back, and it's hard to position a plate properly behind the machine. Comes apart nicely for clean up, but it takes a while and you have to be careful of the very sharp blade. It does the job. Thickness adjustment works well, but very thin slices are tricky. For the price I consider it a good value and recommend it."

"I have small restaurant and I was having trouble slicing onions real thin. I coudn't afford the $300 machine. This one saved the day. It was easy to set up and works fine. I use it for onions, potatoes and other things. I rated it 4 because it is a little light weight. I have had it about 1 month."
