Welding Work Table,
August 11, 2008
By Yoda08from Gallatin, TN
"My hobby is oxygen and acetylene welding and anyone that has tried it knows that you can use a third hand. Along with the welding table I also purchased several welding magnets to help hold and position the work. The welding table is adjustable and in combination with the magnets it is a breeze to setup and a pleasure to work on."

Great Value Portable Welding Table,
April 17, 2008
By EngrRetiredfrom Des Moines, IA
"I have a garage workshop - mostly woodworking - but do some welding. Had no table or welding area & didn't want to set fire to my woodworking tables. Got this table 45 days ago & it had all of the parts & assembled perfectly with no modifications - doesn't happen very often this day and age. Well engineered. strong, is easy to use and stores flat against the wall "out of the way." Very good buy for the price!!"

Strong Hand Tools Welding Table, Model# TS3020,
April 16, 2008
By Caesarfrom El Cerrito, Ca
"This table came in so handy during for my chopper project. I was able to weld all types of parts and the grooves/slots in the table gave me the ability to clamp down on the part(s) for good welds and penetration. The portability also made it handy for me to shuffle this all over the workshop and do the welding I needed to do wherever I needed and it doesn't weigh much nor take up any space. The folding feature is a plus+++++++++++++."

Great portable table,
February 10, 2008
By PeteManfrom Maryland
"This is a great table. I was going to build a folding table from plans, but I never had the time. This one is really handy, has nice adjustability and folds up (and even has wheels!) to store out of the way. As others have said, it isn't a big production table that you can beat on with a sledgehammer, but that is not what it is designed for. It is stable, and much better than trying to rig up a table between sawhorses etc."

Nicely designed portable solution,
January 14, 2008
By MichaelPfrom Chicago
"Very well designed and implemented portable welding table. Do not expect it to be as sturdy as a 3'x6'x1/2' mammoth, but it's nearly perfect for a weekender with limited garage space or those who needs a portable solution. Strategically placed holes allow for an easy clamp placement. The table can be wheeled, yet it is surprisingly stable when unfolded. I made a tool rack out of an angle and attached it to the side of the table using the tapped holes it has there. I'm very pleased with the purchase and would recommend the table without any hesitation."

Strong Hands Tools welding table,
October 21, 2007
By BobinCalifrom California
"A nice little set up. If you are looking for a lightweight, space saving welding table, this fits the bill. Easy to put togther, folds up nicely so it doesn't take up a lot of room, is light weight and very portable. Height adjustment is fast and easy, and the table tilts. The grooves in top will allow you to mount a vise, too. This is not a heavy duty industrial welding platform, but it is ideal for home / hobby use."

Strong Hand Tools Welding Table 20 in x 30in,
October 10, 2007
By Toolmakerfrom El Segundo, Calif.
"Very well engineered welding table with the finest crafstmanship. I purchased this table for it's usefullness, portability and innovative design. Having searched the Internet, phone book, welding supply and scrap yards for a welding table, I decided on the TS3020 for it's many useful features. A blanchard ground plate was one option however this would be quite heavy and stationary. The table as it comes from the factory is absolutely perfect and ready to go with a little assembly. Very nice cadmium plated screws, table top surface and brackets with baked enamel in other places are good for resistance to weld spatter (hot molten particles). The outside edges have retractable rails that are able to be easily removed without tools. Square edges all around are sturdy. Clamps may be easily attached in a wide variety of places. The table itself appears to be quite stiff for formed and welded .080 in thick steel. Brilliant design. Slots for clamps may even become stops for fixtures. A possiblity for modification of the table is to add 1.00 in sq x 1.00 square cold rolled steel to the outside edge for creation of a portable 3D welding table, able to use the outside edges. The present edge is 1.00 in now that is useful for most applications. In many years of making welding fixtures, I have never seen such a fine table as this one. Every feature is carefully thought out with the user in mind. The table may have other uses as a work station other than welding. Locking the table in place is done with a very well engineered bracket on both sides. The table is locked in place with a combination pin (5/8" dia) and large screw with an attached hande. Level, slightly angled and 90 degree can be rapidly accessed. Adjusting the height of the table is done with two screws that are loosed. A 1/2 in dia pin secruely holds the position of the table making it quite secure. Thoughtful chains attach the pins so they do not get lost. This is my first report and impression of the table. The table would be an excellent choice for the field or shop welder at ANY PRICE in my opinion."
