Got more than I asked for,
November 10, 2009
""I was shopping around for a mig welder capable of welding up to 1/4 thick steel was looking at lincoln and miller welders. But when I try'ed the IronMan 210 I was sold. I have a friend that let me try his out . And come to find out when I try'ed it on 1/2 inch steel It was great. ( Beautiful beads ) Even try'ed on 1 inch steel plates butted up on 60% V notch and filled weld on top of weld .. and was so amazed at the penetration after cutting the plate with my ban saw... I really got more than I ask'ed for ... and at a great price ..... what ever you do do not pass up this welder . Or northern for

Great welder,

"Could not get a better welder for the money. Have used mine on many projects over the past year or two and could not be more pleased with its performance. The only thing I have seen negative is that the weld quality gets a touch bad when the welder gets close to maxing out on duty cycle. I would definetly buy another Hobart welder."

"This is one of the best wire welders I have ever used. The feed is very smooth, and with the large tank of Argon, the tank doesn't run out of gas. It is heavy enough to weld anything we have to weld. My son and I are going to build a 6x10 trailer, and can't wait to weld it together. It so portable on it own frame , which is a major convenice.
I would recommend this to any body that has some welding experience with a mig welder.

Welding,
July 15, 2009
"I have been welding for over 30 years and used many types of welders. This Hobart unit is by far the best one yet. My first project with this welder was a metal fence with gate opener for the entrance to our property. I plan to use this welder for a business I am starting.
Thank you for selling great products.

IronMan 210,
October 27, 2008

"I was shopping around for a 230 volt mig welder capable of welding up to 3/8" thick steel, that also had an available spool gun for aluminum. I compared the Lincoln PowerMig 215XT, MillerMatic 212, and ESAB MigMaster 203.
I chose the IronMan 210 because it offered the best features for the price, and the best value overall. The ESAB has a comparable price and features, but Hobart welder parts are available through any Miller dealer. I couldn't be happier with the welder, it is a solid, well built piece that does what it is supposed to do every time. I use it to fabricate various parts for vehicle restorations, parts for my Jeep, and I plan on building some wrought iron pieces.
I would recommend this welder to anyone who is shopping for one in this price range as I feel it is the best one for the money. Combine that with Northern's awesome customer service and you can't do better!

"I have been using this same unit at work for five years with out any problems at all. I worked on golf course equipment ,using spoolgun for aluminum on golf carts and strait mig on all other types of equipment. I had never used a mig welder befor. This unit is easy to use and has excelent heat range control.
I liked it so much i bought one for myself when i retired.
