Great for the money,

"This is not a professionals volt meter. This tool is good for the weekend handyman. If you just need something to check continuity or low amps this is the tool. Anyone looking for a professional model do not try to save money and buy this, you will be disappointed."

Digital Multifunction Voltmeter,
January 16, 2008
By Garmos

"Purchased one of these for my grandson for Christmas, who is 11 and interested in electronic kit building. For the money, we were very impressed with the digital readout and ease of use. We had fun checking battery voltages and other components. Great product for the beginner and all around use."

"Bought this as a gift for christmas. Can't say much about it as I did not get to use it. From the looks of it; it seems to be made well from the outside. So I gave it an average rating. Price was ok."

Ammeter and Continuity Tests failed,
January 14, 2008
By Expert
from MI
"Once I received this meter, the first thing I tested was the continuity test and I was disappointed with the result. When I connect the two terminals together, it supposed to show 0.00 but it was showing random numbers continually. Effort to test the ammeter proved a failure as well."

VOM,
October 8, 2007

"For the price you can't find a better tool. I have several of these scattered around the house, shop, work, one in every tool box and one in the car. It's not as sensitive or functional as my Simpson or Fluke meters, but for basic circuit voltage checking, continuity checking, battery condition or light duty amp loads it does a good job.
The large readout is easy to see in low light situations. And, it's cheap enough to buy several and if you lose one you're not out a fortune. I've dropped mine several times, once off an 8' ladder on concrete and it's still working fine. I'd hate to try and find all the pieces of my Simpson 360 if it had been the one dropped.

Great little gadget that does alot..,

"This is a great litle gadget to have around the house or shop. It is inexpensive yet it can save you lots of time, trouble, money, and even frustration. Yes we know about the frustration when an appliance/game/toy etc. uses more than one battery and doesn't want to work properly. You bang it around awhile, switch the placement of the batteries, and roll them over a time or two (or three.) You don't really know which battery is the culprit so you end up throwing them all away or spend time checking one at a time in another device that still uses more than one battery and you still don't know what you have. This handy meter is very easy and safe to use and eliminates waste of batteries. It gives you an exact ditigal reading so you know for sure and takes away the guess work. Great tool for any generation to use."
