"We have been running this model compressor for several years to supply our needle seeder and packaging equipment. It has been working flawlessly! It supplies all the air needed to run our high SCFM seeder, cycling at a reasonable rate. "This is a great compressor I use in my home shop. It's quite for it's size. The only complaint I have is the drain is hard to access. I'd recommend putting it up a couple inches on a 2x4 cuts or something. I can barely get my hand through the access.
Other than that, it's a 5-star."

"This is a great product at a great price. High quality construction, powerful yet efficient motor with heavy duty pressure switch. Flanged feet for mounting - makes for sturdy base. Excellent size for light to medium use. Only flaw- continuous use makes a great deal of heat and condensation - drain needs to be piped out from center of tank to properly drain after each use. Overall the best compressor I have ever owned."

"About a year ago the portable air compressor I had used for several years died. I decided I was tired of junky little air compressors that only had enough oomph to pump up a bicycle tire. So I bought an Ingersoll Rand SS3L3 compressor. I have used it almost daily since and continue to be impressed with it. It has much more power and is quieter than my old portable plus it doesn't "walk" like a portable. It has plenty of power to operate my impact wrench (also IR brand), sander, sandblaster, nail gun, etc. Ingersoll Rand compressors were in most of the plants I worked in and some were in service 25 years or more. The quality, power, and reliability of Ingersoll Rand air compressors can't be beat and the SS3L3 is just the right size for a small workshop like mine."

"My current project is a total restoration of a classic Mustang. I'm a weekend hobbiest with more than two decades of experience. This air compressor is a workhorse and a very good buy. I shopped around considerably before settling on this compressor and couldn't be happier. Using the Ingersoll Rand startup kit (which I highly recommend) gets you not only extra warranty, but the synthetic lube ups the duty cycle of the compressor from 60% to 100%! I've already contacted their customer service once and received immediate help. The price, performance, warranty, and customer service are just right. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this compressor and I suspect that it's bigger brother (5hp) is just as good if you need more power."

"This is the second compressor Ive bought for home use and so far this has an outstanding unit. It is relatively quiet and handles every air tool that I have with no problem. Might be a little small if you have more then one person at a time using air tools but it is a great compressor."
