Shop Compressor Upgrade,

"I bought this compressor last year as an upgrade for my shop building. I maintain several tractors and mowers and also do some tractor restoration work. The compressor is mounted inside the shop and the noise level is almost unnoticeable. Installation and hookup were extremely easy and I have had absolutely no problems even with extensive use. The air volume is more than adequate for all applications in my shop. I would highly recommend this air compressor."

"I just opened a small automotive repair shop, and a friend talked me into buying this compressor because he has one like it. Good choice. I couldn't be more satisfied. I plumbed it into 4 outlets around the perimeter of my building and it has all the power and capacity I require."

"Son bought one to put in my garage to do body work. Made plenty of air for all his tools and gave us no problems. Very quiet compared to the Craftsman oil less 30 gallon we WERE running. Plenty of air for my 1/2" air tools as well."

"Purchased this compressor because I was tired of those oil-less compressors smoking. This compressor has more than enough air for every tool I have ever used. Not a single problem in 2 years. I have seen these at work run for over 5 years, probably turning on once every 1/2 hour. That is why I bought one."

"I ordered this compressor as an upgrade in my shop . The IR 5 hp was delivered as promised..in great condition and very much within a reasonable amount of time. The wireing was a breeze, it is much quieter than anticipated and pumps the advertised volume without straining at all. Every bit the workhorse I had hoped it would be. Cudos to Norhern and Ingersol Rand a joy to get your money's worth!"

Two years - No Problems,

"I bought this compressor to replace a number of smaller compressors. It has worked without any problems for the past two years. I have a large shop and multiple buildings on my property. This unit serves a large automotive machine shop facility. It provides power for my air tools and other uses.
With my smaller compressors, I would have to stop my job with some air tools when the pressure would decline. This does not happen with this compressor. I use impact wrenches, needle scalers, power hammers, and a bead blasting cabinet and all work satisfactorily.
I am glad that I spent the extra money for this compressor."
