"Building a log home out of oak logs. Between the inside of the logs and all the beams for the open beam ceiling, this sander really got a workout. Using 80 and 100 grit belts this sander powered through everything. The long cord is a real plus, and the dust bag does a pretty good job of catching the dust. While on the heavy side for using on walls, the weight is an advantage when working on a flat surface which would be most of the time on the average job...highly recommended."
