"This hose reel is one of my favorite additions to my shop. It was easy to mount and came "ready to use." My shop is much more organized and clean-up is a breeze."

"This hose reel is an excellent value. I replaced a manual crank-wind unit and a poly hose with this unit and I am glad I did. I am going to buy another for my race trailer."

Great Value - Great Tool,
November 2, 2009
"I don't know why I waited to get one of these. It makes life so much easier than running hoses around and out of my workshop.
The overhead door isn't large enough to get some of my vehicles inside, so the 50 foot hose length comes in handy to get to my travel trailer or truck (or a friends vehicle that might come by for some "help") The first time you tug the hose and let it coil itself up, you'll be convinced you may a wise investment.
Agree with another reviewer - it would have been nice to ge a notice that fittings are required for connection (and what size of fittings are on the reel and hose.) That caused me a one day delay in installing and using it. If you're like me you hate to wait to use a new tool!"

"I have owned this reel for over 8 years now and it is flawless. I have installed this reel in three garages to date as I moved around the eastern seaboard. Not only did it survive the moves by less than carefull movers, it worked as the day I bought it without any issues whatsoever in every garage I installed it."

"This was a great choice. I kept putting off the purchase until it went on sale. Saved $10. This air reel works perfect, no more air hoses laying on the floor to trip on :-)"

Top Quality Reel,
October 20, 2009
"This is my 3rd hose reel in my shop, the other twoI bought (I didn't buy them here) were junk! I got tired of the cheap reels with plastic parts so I stepped up to this reel from Northern Tool. I highly recommend this reel to anyone wanting a well built reel that should last years, I am so pleased with this reel! I will buy two more in the near future, but please add a note in the ad that a hook up hose and fittings will also be required to install this to a compressor. Once it's hooked up you'll wonder why it took you so long to get one of these! Thanks for a great tool!"

Air Hose Reel,
October 19, 2009
By Diddy

"I have installed my new hose reel. It has a 50 ft. retractable hose that makes using my air tools very easy any where in my 24'X48" shop. When I am done, just pull the hose and let it rewind to the reel mounted in the ceiling near the center of my shop. Before, I had to deal with 50' of air hose everytime I used my impact wrench to change mower blades. Uncoiling hose and rewinding after I finished changing the blades turned a 5 minute job into a 20 minute job not to mention having to wrestle with the hose before and after. Now all I have to do is connect my tool to the quick connect coupling, do the job, disconnect the tool, pull the hose and it rewinds itself, place my airtool back to where it belongs and the job is done. I am very pleased with my new hose reel."
