Air Needle Scaler,
October 19, 2009
By Cletrack
from Port Orchard, WA
"It works great for removing paint from metal. It showed it with a rubber sheath didn't come with one so made one that worked good. The sheath cuts down on vibration when holding it. It worked great in areas where a grinder would not fit. It takes the paint off fast.
The other things I got machinery movers wheels on them worked really good for turning the cat around to work on it. Those movers are amazing. Put one under front and back on each side & turn it. Restoring is a hobby. Hope the photo's went through"

Restoration metal work made easy,
April 15, 2008
By BlueCollar

"Extremely satisfied with this tool. From welding/burning slag, to heavy scale on pipe, water pump housings, frames, and rotors to yearly cleaning of underneath lawn mower decks, this this thing chops through the job quickly/easily... hit the job with a wire wheel after scaling and you are ready for paint. Sure beats the hammer/chisel methods!
One wish: Would be nice if it were smaller in length, but certainly would not want to sacrifice power."

"I used Dayton needle scaler for 8 years, and recently changed to IR brand.
I should have made the choice sooner.

"The Needle Scaler is a great tool for a variety of uses, not
just iron and metal work. I do carpentry work and have even
used it to remove old paint from concrete walls in a basement
before repainting. My husband is a heavy equipment mechanic
and uses his for , of course, welding and a number of other uses.

"I ordered this Needle Scaler for our new welding shop. It has been fantastic at removing slag that a grinding wheel can't reach. It's size is even comfortable for my small hands to control. Would definitely recommend this product to other ironworkers."
