"When I received this item the case was cracked. Also tried to use the soap dispenser and it wouldn't work. Could not get the soap to suction into the system even after reading the instructions several times and doing what it said to do. Not to happy with purchase. Also their was suppost to be a bonus for spending over a certain amount. I was to get a gift card for the next purchase and I didn't receive that."

Pretty good washer,

"I bought this pressure washer to wash my deck, house aand driveway, and it worked great. Easy to assemble and use. My complaint is that the connections for the hoses are hard to use and the hose connection leaks constantly. Doesn't seem to take away from the power though."

Easy to use,

"I originally had a gas powered washer for home/farm use. It was a hassle to start, wheel around, etc. I bought this thinking I was settling for "less" but have been very pleased.
When I am tasking and working around the house/farm, I plug this in, hook up the water and it sits there ready to go. Whenever something needs cleaned or sprayed off I can pick up the wand and spray away. I find myself washing everything now. No engine noise, compact unit, Reccomended."

"I have had one of these for a couple of years now and it's the best one I've owned for quick around the house clean up. Just hookup to water supply turn on and go, no gas to refill or worry about running out of. GREAT washer to have"

Good performance for an electric pressure washer,
November 17, 2008

"I previously owned a Karcher electric pressure washer for over 10 years. That unit performed so well, I was determined to buy another. I waited for over 2 months for Northern to fill the backorder on this particular unit.
The first one arrived damaged in transit, guess what? No replacements available.......backordered again!
The second unit arrived in a week or so. This model outperforms my old Karcher unit. Better pressure, and the unit turns itself off when you let go of the trigger. The turbo nozzle is impressive. Keep it away from anything you don't want pressure washed!!
My only complaint is the soap reservoir drains itself if you store the unit with the pressure hose disconnected. It makes a soapy mess on the floor. I found a plastic cap that fits over the outlet to solve this problem.
Overall, this is an impressive little unit that more than meets my residential needs."

November 17, 2008

"I received the Karcher Electric Pressure Washer - Model #5.93M approximately a month ago. I've been using it predominantly around the house - washing the garage floor, driveway, outdoor pond, etc. So far, it has operated satisfactorily and has lived up to my expectations. So I would have to say, I'm very pleased with it."

"This is my second pressure washer because the first one was junk, not a Karcher , and this particular model is the best I have seen in it's class. If you need a pressure washer to do a little more than just wash your vehicle once in awhile you won't regret buying this one.Unbelievable performance for the price."

Finally an electric powerwasher that works,
November 17, 2008
By FLgardener
from Bradenton, FL
"I've had prior electric powerwashers and been tragically disappointmented when parts cracked, broke or just stopped operating within a few months. One had been a $100 Karcher, so I was hesitant to buy another one from that manufacturer, but this model #5.93 M is a totally different machine.
To begin with, it isn't flimsy. Part of a side panel was cracked upon opening the box but it was immediately replaced by the manufacturer after one phone call. It has a good range of variable power settings for the average homeowner (cleaning driveway with stains, pvc furniture back to white without bleach or cleaners, yet gentle enough to take only the dirt off and leave the painted surface without scars).
I would suggest buying the small click on/off connection to the garden hose because the threaded connector is plastic. A hook to hang the cords from would be nice too, but they're just window dressing. I wanted something that could clean all of my pavers that tend to turn green in the shade, wooden fence & deck, painted siding and my car. It does it all beautifully, without as much noise as my last powerwasher. The handle is very comfortable to hold/use for long periods of time, even for someone with small hands and weak grip. The wheels make it easy to maneuver and it has a long electric cord.
I'm glad that I decided to spend a little more for something with stronger internal parts that should last me in the long run. Even my darkly stained pressure treated deck returned to its original state with one easy going over. I got disappointed when I finally ran out of things to clean. This one's a keeper."

Very disappointed,

"I, too, had the same issue like Joe. Waited over a month to get this washer and really needed it as I have a lot to clean up before it gets too cold. Had the unit all put together and went to connect the high pressure hose to the connector. It was real loose and then I saw inside where it was broke off at the elbow joint. No way this happened during shipping. Couldn't believe it. How in the world did this pass inspection! Then, I had to go through the hassle of repackaging it and calling to get it returned and now having to wait for the exchange. This certainly does not give one confidence in purchasing what is supposed to be a quality product. Can't tell you how well the machine worked - maybe I can if the new one doesn't come broken!"

Poor Quality and Poor Support,
September 22, 2008
By Joe34672
"I waited over a month for this Karcher electric pressure washer since it was back ordered. As soon as I opened the box I knew I made a mistake with this purchase. The parts are poorly constructed and 99.999% cheap flimsy plastic. I immediately noticed the cheap connector to the high pressure inlet was broke off . How long do you think those cheap connectors will last if it cant withstand shipping?"
