"The lower RPM of this drill makes more torque and that is what you want in a 1/2" drill it will make a 1/2" hole in steel."

"Quite good, good amount of power, revs fairly slow- (700 rpm) about the speed of an electric on low speed with compareable torque, seems to be of good quality, my only complaint is the noise could use a silencer or muffler."
