Needle scaler needed modification,

"I bought this needle scaler to use on an existing air hammer. Both of the air hammers I own have a tool opening of around .400". The shank on this needle scaler is .435" and wound not go into either air hammer. I had to disassemble the scaler and grind the shank smaller so it would fit. It's a minor annoyance but I had anticipated this being a simple installation and it wasn't. In addition, the "needles" seem to break rather easily."

work made easier,

"so much easier to clean up/prep metal before and even after welding. saves time by removing flakes of rust before using the wire brush whereas the grinder sometimes takes off too much too fast... or even after a weld, removing splatter just zips right off. being an attachment saves from having to purchase a dedicated expensive tool just for that job. for my small shop, it is great being able to have the right speciality tool just for the occasional project"

Good quick needler solution,

"I had a couple of air hammers around which I didn't use. This needler attachement was the perfect addition: change out your airhammer tip which holds your chisel attachments, and install your needler instead. I use it often for welding prep on machinery spaces I can't reach with my grinder. Great low cost solution which otherwise required me to get yet another dedicated tool."
