"Everytime I use this set I ask myself why I don't use it more. I think it is only because the sockets "look funny". This sweet little set is all that is advertised and more. The small ratchet wrench fits your hand perfectly and it's fine tooth design allows for an extremely small advance increment. The special "hollow" socket design and the through hole in the ratchet allow for infinitely long extension of thread past the nut. I can't even complain that I don't use it as much because It doesn't allow the use of "regular" sockets because it does. There is an adaptor included that makes a standard 1/4" ratchet out of this design so that even long extensions can be used.
I bought this set after having struggled for a long time making an adjustment on a machine that used about a 6" length of 1/4 inch thread rod to make the settings. Anyone who's had to move a 7/16 inch nut about an inch on a piece of thread rod knows that at 90 degrees per advance, I had to move my open end wrench 80 times to accomplish it. No more for me thanks. I'll just grab this handy tool in the future."
