"This drill is lightweight with enough torque for most any professional work. Batteries are phenomenal for holding and lasting. I bought this drill for my son, a professional carpenter and it is the best tool he has. I am sold on panasonic."

Panasonic Cordless Drill,
August 18, 2008

"I bought my first panasonic almost 14 years ago, it still running fine I wore out a few parts on the drill. Panasonic was great got the parts and it is still running very few drill can hold up to day to day hard work . I bought my second drill I know have 5 batterys all still hold a charge and work fine a great tool it always works fine. How many people can say that not only does it work but it is equal to many of the drills that weight more have bigger volts but it works great. You will love this tool, it will never give up."

Great Drill,

"Plenty of power, very compact size. The 3.5Ah batteries seem to run forever, the only down side is they're very expensive to replace. For this reason it's worth looking at the Rigid, since they have a lifetime warranty that covers the batteries too. At the time, I bought this drill Rigid didn't have a model that was as compact or light, but they have an 18 or 20V LiIon model now that looks pretty good. I wish they included a flashlight with this drill, my Craftsman drill had one and it was very handy."

Really excellent tool,

"I've had one of these for at least 5 years now and still love it. While it lacks bells and whistles like magnetic storage or bubble levels and LEDs, it is THE best device in its class pound for pound. With the 3500mAh battery it is loaded with terrific power for a very long time. Far outlasts my 18v Ryobi or DeWalt XRP and is the gun I reach for most. Very solid construction and good feel. I've dropped mine off ladders more time than I care to recall and despite hard surfaces (like my skull...) it shows no trauma from the drama.
The only knocks are that the batteries are a bit tough to detach (white grease helps) and the bit storage requires removing the battery.
I certainly hope they build a litium-powered one that's just as good.

long lasting,
October 29, 2007

"I've never owned a large voltage cordless drill before, but I read about this drill in a home builders magazine a couple years ago and decided to buy it. I'm still the very happy owner of this drill and I think the batteries last quite well, though mine are starting to show their age and will likely need to be replaced before too long. I love the quick charger that comes with the unit too. Highly recommended!"

Panasonic Cordless Drill,
July 12, 2007
"The drill is used every day in my handyman-woodworking business. It does what it's supposed to do, and is easy to use. The batteries don't last as long as I thought they would, but that's the only drawback."
