"Having a flat tire on my tractor convinced me to spend the bucks and get a decent jack so I could levitate that old piece of iron when I needed to.
Since I've had it I've learned that it is really helpful for pulling fence posts out of the ground and I've even used it to convince some privet hedge bushes that they oughta come up out of the dirt too. I think that with a little help from another pair of hands I could use the jack to stretch fence wire as tight as a banjo string.
When I first opened the box I found that one of the 6mm X 50mm roll pins that are part of the up/down selector was bent but that wasn't any trouble to swap out. I replaced both of the pins with stainless steel coil pins so they ought to be there till I've gone to that great tractor barn in the sky."
