July 20, 2009
By venture2009

"We run a marine business and space is a premium. This engine stand holds our 75Hp diesels no problem. Makes a rebuild much easier and it takes up very little space in the shop."

"I use this stand to rebuild Lister and Duetz engines And I am very pleased with it. All other stands that I have used before had to be modified. This stand rolls very easy even with 1200 lbs engine on it. It is worth every dollar."

Great buy,
August 11, 2008
"I find this stand to be an great engine work stand . it supports large engines well and they are easy to move and rotate. it fits nicely under my work bench in my engine room . I would buy another if i need it but i all ready have 6 other stands out of my 6 stands this is the nicest other then a custom built I made which cost a lot more to build then the cost of this stand I believe you wont be dissapointed with your purchase."

Good crane.,
June 3, 2008
By dig060504
from San Antonio, TX
"Crane is really sturdy. Has some pretty ugly welds, but it is holding up so far. Assembly was quick and easy.
Word of advice- Lube up the casters/bearings before assembly. They were all really dry and grinding, but some all purpose lube did the trick.
All in all, I would buy again if I had to get rid of mine. Nice knowing it's rated to 1500 lbs.

"i rebuild ALOT of marine engines and i have been using this engine stand for awhile and i must say that i really like it.
it holds a fully dressed marine v-8 with no problems at all.
it rolls very easy with an engine on it.
the only problem , well not really a problem but the only thing i didn't like too much is the little pin they use to hold it in place.
Course i just use a big bolt which works perfect.
it is an awesome engine stand at an awesome price.

"ok so this stand is great, but to use it you need to put the engine crane out at max. extention to get the stand under it. and the holes for the bell housing bolts were too long, so i had to go out and buy longer bolts. and the center whell is a bit too low, so it will someetimes interfere with steering the stand around the garage. not a real big deal though. overall its a good stand, heavy duty."

Engine stand,
March 7, 2007
By MIKE1
from Suffolk, LI
"Sirs,
I purchased this because the weight rating was sufficient to hold the block of a 6 cyl Isuzu diesel that I'm rebuilding. I was unable to utilize the stand for two reasons;
1- the brackets provided did not have holes big enough to fit the bell housing bolts so I'll need to fabricate custom brackets.
2- the legs are too wide to permit me to move the stand between the lower support feet of the engine hoist. I kept finding myself about 8" to 1" short of making up the stand to the engine when I used the foldable two ton hydraulic lift to hold the engine up as explained in the stands instructions.
Trying to use the stand ...especially because I can't get it close to the hoist.... is very frustrating. I though that this would be an easy stand to use to help facilitate access to the engine for rebuilding. I'm finding it easier to just use the hoist and wood blocking to accommodate the engine.

Over all, a well built stand,
February 19, 2007
"Very sturdy stand. Nice to be able to fold it up out of the way. However some of the welds look like they were made by a third class welder third shift. Effective welds, but very ugly looking."
