Decent Aluminum Jack,
August 11, 2008
By whowutwutfrom Wappingers Falls, NY
"This is the first aluminum jack that I've purchased so I have nothing to compare it to. It's alot easier to move around the garage than my craftsman jack. I only had this alum jack for less than a year so I cannot comment on the durability. I bought this hoping to be able to jack up my 240sx without using wood ramps. The jack is low enough but not long enough so I cannot pump the jack without wood ramps (lowered and body kit). The protective pad on the handle is only useful if your cars jack point is close to the edge of the car or you are not running a body kit. I still need to put a towel over the handle to protect my paint from the rough grippy handle. Lowering the jack back down is not very smooth but acceptable."

Good home use jack,
April 21, 2008
By BMW535from Atlanta, Ga
"This jack is very light, low and easy to handle. However it is a little short and cannot reach far underneath my car. this can be a problem when working on lowered cars. The handle has a convenient rubber bumper to protect your cars finish should the handle hit the car. My biggest complaint is that the rotation of the handle is notchy and difficult to modulate easily so the pistons tend to decompress all at once causing the car to drop suddenly when lowering the car. I highly suggest buying the extended warranty from Northern. The seals on this jack started leaking and the jack became useless. however, Northern replaced the jack at no cost."
